What to wear for your North Wales photoshoot

Short answer: whatever the hell you want.

Wear what makes you feel comfortable, powerful, dramatic, soft, loud, or anything in between. If you want to turn up in your favourite jeans, do it. If you want to dress like a film icon, go for it. If you want to commit to a full theme, even better. A fashion editorial in a medieval castle with your best outfits? Yes. An 80s weightlifting moment in a gym? Absolutely. Lady of the Lake rising from the water? I will be right there in the water with you.

What I’m not going to do is tell you to wear neutrals, avoid patterns, or match colours with everyone else. I’m not here to turn you into a Pinterest board. You don’t need to tone yourself down because someone once decided beige is the only colour allowed in photos. In my opinion, those rules make everything look the same. It’s forgettable. And you’re not forgettable.

You should be able to show up exactly as you are. Wear what you love. Wear what feels like you. Move how you want. Laugh how you want. Bring the outfits that make you grin when you put them on. That’s what makes the photos good, not a colour palette someone invented to keep everyone looking identical.

So bring your personality. Bring your style. Bring the clothes that make you feel like the main character. I’ll handle the rest.
