Why Halloween is My Favourite Time of Year for Family Photos
Most of us spend our lives worrying about what other people think, trying not to stand out too much and toning ourselves down. I’m on a mission to break that mould anyway, but Halloween is one of the few times a year where people are actively encouraged to lean into their imagination, and that’s why I love Halloween shoots!
You want to dress as a Victorian ghost, wandering through the woodland or a haunted house? Or maybe become a vampire in a graveyard. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to embrace your inner witch. This is your time!
We stop playing dress up far too young. Society has convinced us that we have to grow out of it, but why should we… it’s far too much fun.
You don’t even need an elaborate costume. A black dress, a long coat, makeup, or a dramatic hat can work wonders.
So why book a Halloween photoshoot? Because it’s fun! You get to be someone you’ve always wanted to be, your future self will look back on the memories and thank you.
